I was wondering whether anyone had any information regarding the long-defunct North Midland Motor Club. I know that my car (or rather a previous owner with my car) was a member at some stage in the 1960's up to early 1970's and they sometimes met at the Old Hall pub in Hope, but nothing much more than that. Normal searches don't yield anything informational, apart from a motor club badge collector, who says on his site;

VERY WELL KNOWN OLD MOTOR CLUB WHO WERE HEAVILY INVOLVED IN ALL TYPES OF MOTOR RACING, TIME TRIALS, RALLYING, HILL CLIMBS ETC BACK IN THE 1950'S RIGHT THROUGH TO THE 1970'S, BADGE IS IN SUPERB CONDITION MADE BY RENAMEL |
Any information gratefully received, as my car history file is filling up nicely now. Thanks |
