This year maybe the one where I will finish my Olympic, I will be finishing work and my son is 17 and keen to become involved. His kart racing has reduced to hobby level. We have 95% of the required parts available to finish the car so all should be good.
I will try to post all the relevant aspects of the rebuild on here for the benefit of others in a similar situation.
The starting point is as follows :-
Shell is complete and painted apart from bonnet, boot and doors not fitted.
Rear axle is not fitted
Front sub frame is not fitted
There is no interior trim.
I have a choice of engines from 1100cc to 1650cc both x flow and pre x flow.
It's going to be a big job but hopefully we can get a result during 2016.

Regards
Dave & Daniel

I look forward to hearing of your progress, and hope to become inspired myself.
And thanks for posting - I thought everyone had died!

You are quite right Steven; I did post that.

Was there something else?
