Kieth, On the old forum you mentioned that you had fitted a disc brake conversion to the front axle of one of your old Fords.
can you share the details with us, please.
Regards

Hi.
I am here but I am pleading not guilty to the charge of fitting disc brakes to an old Ford. I did own an old 1935 Ford Y when I was 15 but not since.
I also have a Vauxhall Viva disc brake conversion for the Olympic Ph2 which runs the earlier torsion bar Riley 1500 suspension.
Must of been some-one else and am sorry I cannot be of assistance in this conversion, I am guessing it could be the owner of the only Rochdale GT in Australia...Gordon Crowley.
Regards Keith.

Keith,
Must be going crazy. No problems. It's just that I recall someone saying they had fitted Cortina front discs to an old Pop solid front axle.
Ah well I will keep looking

Dave,

Keith's right - Gordon Cowley has fitted a Ford 10 axle to his GT with Mk1 Cortina hubs and disc brakes. I'm not sure how, though - sorry! Are you out there, Gordon?
