We had a meeting of the committee the other day, on the agenda was the up and coming 60th anniversary of the Olympic.

To this end we have decided to concentrate our efforts on getting as many Rochdale cars to the show organised by the Rotary Club at Falange Park which is in Rochdale, and was the venue for many publicity shots done by Rochdale Motor Panels in period.

The show is to be held on the 26th July this year, we already have nominal commitments for 6 or 7 Olympics to be in attendance which includes the only remaining (that we know of) lightweight ph1, as well as examples of standard ph1's and ph2's.

We would like to make this an event to remember so if you can attend either with or without a Rochdale (of any type) please watch out for further information in the magazine, forum, or Facebook, oh and you could get a phone call too.

Unfortunately we have just had news that the 60th anniversary celebration event has been cancelled due to the current Covid-19 pandemic. The organisers have said that they are going to reschedule it for next year.
