I have just assembled my front suspension to the sub-frame (AVO shockers) and after measuring a few things I would like some help from anyone with a running car with the above suspension with or without AVO's. Please help as the info from this post may help others.
I need to know:
1) The ride height of your car under the front crossmember of the subframe.
2) The angle of your lower wishbone relative to the ground. Best guess or measured.
3) If you have AVO's fitted, the distance between the body of the shocker and the shocker bump stop, you should be able to see this through the coils of the spring.
Any pictures relating to the above would help also
Alex, if you read this, I need to know the diameter of your anti-roll bar.
Regards
Dave

Alex. the rod which goes across the subframe and then bends back to connect to the rear lower suspension arm is known as the anti-roll bar. I don't know the French word for it.
If you don't know what it doe's just ask
Regards

Right, the dimensions I would like are:-
The distance from where the steel ruler is laid, on the floorpan, down to the ground.
This is the point where the lower front subrame crossmember, (as shown at the bottom of the picture below), is bonded to the floorpan.
Also your best guess at the angle the bottom suspension arm makes to the horizontal.

Alex, it's the one fitted when I bought the car, I don't know if it came from a production car or was made by Rochdale. Maybe someone will know.
