It is with deep regret that I have to announce that Keith Pratt died in July this year.
Keith was one of the founder members of the Rochdale Owners Club and was always very active in his support of the owners club, freely giving of his time at both the Cheshire kit car show which the club ran for many years and the Northern classic car show at its various venues over the years. Keith was always happy to sit and discuss all thing Rochdale and with his vast knowledge of the marque gathered over many years of involvement with Rochdale Motor panels and their products could put most people on the right track.
As a young man Keith owned a Rochdale Mk6 which he bought, built and ran for many years before he decided to replace it in the early 1960’s with an Olympic Ph2R which he also bought direct from the factory. Keith built and ran the Olympic for a long time before taking it off the road with intentions of restoring it and making some improvements during the restoration. The car was with Keith until his sad passing, and he worked on it right up to the end.
Rest in peace, old friend.
