Hi

I am trying to fit the glass in my Olympic but the frame looks too small for the glass on the drivers side ? I thought that the drivers side opening was slightly smaller but looking on the club spares theirs no difference in the passenger side and drivers side windows size ?

The glass is not slotting into the curve of the frame in the top corner ? Anyone got any ideas ?

Thanks

Steve

As with everything on an Olympic, dare I say any Rochdale there are subtle differences from one side to the other. The window glasses are slightly different in profile and the door apertures differ too.

It may be necessary to re profile the frame slightly to get 'best fit' you may also have to make facility for the window regulator to be adjusted on its mountings, again to get the window to 'best fit', the regulators were modified by the factory for use in the Olympic and as everything Rochdale there is a certain amount of tolerance in the system.

Olympics aren't a simple restoration, everything needs work and fine tuning.
