I'm running my PhII (standard spec Ford 1500) with 28 psi front and 24 psi rear. Previously, I've experimented with different higher/lower combinations, but there doesn't seem to be an obvious 'optimum'. Is there a consensus on the best compromise? I'm seeking refinement rather than ultimate handling.

Thanks,

Howard

A lot depends on tyre type and size and suspension set-up?

Hello Tony,

The spec is: club springs all round. Herald front dampers. AVOs at rear adjusted to the softest setting. 175x13 80 section Michelin ZX tyres.

Thanks,

howard

Howard,

I would venture to say that you probably know as much as most of the people on this forum about the quirks of an Olympic. The pressures you say you have been running seem to be in the right ball park to me, perhaps a little high at the front but with the odd geometry of a phase two not a bad thing.

Ultimately you need to find a set up that does what you want it to do and has acceptable tyre wear.

Hello Keith,

Thanks for your advice. I'll keep playing!
