Come on guys, am I the only person putting stuff up here?
Latest info I recieved about my lightweight is that it is eligable for the FISC - Eurotour. This is a series of races on the continent, one of which is at Nurburgring.
I guess this is something to do with Malcolm as the class we are eligable in specifies a 948cc 'A' series, I am currently trying to get the 1275cc 'A' series accepted as I have a couple of Olympics running them, and my lightweight could run a very nice full race one I have in the back of the workshop.
www.fisc-europe.org
the link above gives details, I have a set of regulations should anyone require a copy. |

Good news, I have just recieved an e/mail from the Fisc Eurotour co-ordinator, we can go with a big 'A' series (up to 1380cc) so get building! |

Dear Keith,
To do Fisc with an Olympic, do you must put a roll cage ?
FIA seat ?

Sorry for the lack of speedy reply, we are very busy trying to earn a living.
My thoughts are that I pesonaly wouldn't race any car without a roll bar / cage, I would have to check the regulations to establish whether this is a rule, as I stated abouve I would always and am fitting a rollcage into my lightweight.
A good quality seat with 3" full harness belts should surfice. |

That's the sort of thing, without the door bars, my intention is to incorporate these into the doors themselves which will have the effect of solving the perenial door hinge problem on Olympics. |
