Sticking my head above the parapit here. As some of you may know we specialise in restoration work on early 1960's glassfibre sports cars. We are in the last stages of finishing the restoration of :- one Lotus Europa, one Rochdale Olympic phase 1, and a Rochdale GT.

All of these cars have just had hung headlinings fitted which were done 'in house' by Jason.

If there is enough interest Jason may be in a possition to offer kits.

Below are a couple of pictures showing the initial fitting of the headlining on a phase 1, when the glass is fitted the headlining is then tightened to take out the wrinkles.

Depending on cost etc, I would be interested in a kit for a Phase 2.

I have checked with our trimmer and he is happy to put together kits for headlinings on Rochdale Olympics.

The kit will include 3 pre-formed hoops, one piece of 'off white perforated PVC headlining material' with pockets pre-formed to accept hoops, and a set of instructions to guide you through the process of fitting.

I am currently working through the costings but I estimate the kit would be about £120 plus postage.

We may be able to offer a fitting service but that would depend on individual requirements and location.
