|
|
Sticking my neck out here but it needs saying. The Rochdale Owners Club have commissioned me to produce a sub frame jig and a number of phase two subframes.
Subframes are now available, please contact the club for details and prices.
Currently there are 3 frames available, and they are still with me.

|
|
Hi, we have just finished the fitting of a new sub frame to Roger Coupe's phase two.
When we finished the build up we did our standard suspension geometry check and came up with the following results :-
Offside castor 8 degrees
Nearside castor 8 degrees
Offside KPI 27.5 degrees
Nearside KPI 27.75 degrees
Offside camber (ride hight not set) 1 degree positive
Nearside camber (ride hight not set) 1 degree positive
We were pretty pleased with these results and the car has been returned to Roger to be finished off. |

I have pictures of the sub frames complete and some of the instalation but none of the car complete. I am in the process of writing a piece for the owners club detailing how we fit these frames which will appear in the club mag.
As this is going to be in the owners mag I dont proposed to upload any pictures yet. |

Hi Keith,
If you place photos of the Subframe in PARTS FOR SALE
only ROC members can see it.
Regards

I am looking forwards to your article in the Club Magazine. I think that the mag is the correct place for it as an entity, rather than bits of the story spread here and there. After all, I doubt that the lack of your pics is seriously holding up anyone's restoration- certainly not mine!
Rod
PS. There has already been a picture on this forum of one of the new subframes. _________________ " Stay lucky " |

All I am saying is that I was commissioned by the Rochdale Owners Club to produce a jig and sub frames, it isn't my place to publish information on this stuff as the owners club must surely own the interlectual rights to these items. I am just a sub contractor, all be it with some sort of interest as one of the founders of the rochdale owners club. |

Has the rack mounting position been altered, or is it still in the wrong place? |
