I have finally realised that there are just 24 hrs. in a day and the daydreaming has to stop.
so, reluctantly I have decided to sell my GT. I thought it worthwhile putting it on here before it goes to ebay.
It's a very late and rare GT fitted with the Rochdale tubular ladder chassis, the shell is a fibreglass monocoque. It's got a swinging axle front suspension, watts linked back axle and uses coil spring damper units all round.
This will be a very rewarding project, financially, technically, and will make a very usable car with handling far better than the floppy ford chassis used on other GT's.
If anyone is interested they can contact me on (howsam2@hotmail.com), don't use the brackets round the e-mail address, they are there to stop it becoming a Link.
Regards
Dave
I'll probably get my Olympic finished quicker now!

Dave, I wonder if it would help if it was put in the For Sale part of this website- where the Public look! I looked on this website for a year or so with nothing ever being shown on there. I was then told by a member to join the club and look in the magazine, which I did and saw cars advertised- I bought one. Otherwise the cars are kept "in club" which may be very noble, but limits the sellers market somewhat.

I am surprised that the adverts in the Club magazine are not automatically put on the website as well - look how they sell on Ebay's website!

Rod, I don't think there is a webmaster at the moment! I will have to wait until the AGM and see what's happening. If it's nothing as usual it's off to ebay.
I am having a massive clearout, including my lotus, hillclimb mini, and a couple of other toys hoping to be left with just my Olympic and the lathe and milling machine I have just bought. Then it's some serious work on the Olympic.
Had to buy the engineering gear as my tame machinist went bump and I have been struggling to find another as amenable as he was
Regards
Dave

Advertise all your spares on here first!

Alex mentioned that he would be interested in taking on the website as he is au fait with them, perhaps it could be sorted at the AGM?

Alex what do you think?

Rod
