James, it looks as if someone has copied the Spitfire idea with your pedal box. I have toyed with the idea of using the complete pedal box, etc from a Spitfire, as mine is not too good.

If you turn the pedal over and weld the foot pad to the other side it should work for a lhd converion. Here is a picture of the throttle pedal which maybe of some use to you.

Dear Misters,
Does any of you would have a plan (draw) for this pedal boxing?
I can do a plan with mine, but if you have one I'll win time _________________ Alexandre Contat

James,
The pedal box in my Phase 1 is (I think) from a Mini - and completely different to that in your photos (has vertical master cylinders).

Hi James
My ph1 has the very rare and unusual unit fromeither MGA or very early spridget mk 1/2 which uses the very expensive (if you can find one ) Girling GMC 109 duel master/cyl ie one reservior feeding 2 cyl in one cast unit. Luckily Derek Bentley gentleman that he is has given me a box with std girling m/cyl which will be easy to replace or refirb.
I will post pics when I can work out how to do it. Has anyone else got this set up.
Cheers Rob _________________ It won't cost much? |
